April 13–20
Double Your Impact for
Vulnerable Youth and Families

Countdown to Give
This Easter, we have the opportunity to be a village of hope by partnering with Youth Unlimited and Safe Families, two organizations dedicated to supporting vulnerable children, youth, and families in crisis.
Through our Easter Match Campaign, the first $20,000 of your generosity to the Church Ministry Fund from April 13–20 will go directly to these organizations.
We’ll match your generosity up to a total of $40,000—doubling our impact together!

Transformed Youth, Transforming Our City
Youth Unlimited connects at-risk youth with caring mentors, providing them with a safe community, personal development, and leadership training.
In 2024, 1 million+ youth in Toronto were searching for purpose, stability, and hope. The ministry encountered 3,357 youth. In 2024, Youth Unlimited provided support for youth facing systemic vulnerability through outreach, safe housing, health services, mental health support, and young parent assistance.
Youth Unlimited
Keeping Children Safe & Families Together
When families experience financial crises, unemployment, and homelessness, substance abuse or mental health struggle, their children are often at risk. Safe Families provides an alternative to the foster care system, offering temporary placements for children while their parents receive the help they need. Families stay together while children remain safe and supported.
There are 300,000 children and youth across Canada at risk for abuse and neglect.
In 2024, 54 referrals were provided from families in crisis, 15 families served and 25 children received support through temporary placements. On average, there were nine calls per week from parents seeking urgent help.
