Alpha Youth
When: Fridays from September 18 to November 13
Time: 7 to 9 PM
Where: Bayview Glen Church
Ages: Grade 7-12
If you’ve ever wanted a space to talk about faith, life, and meaning without any pressure, Alpha is for you.
It’s a 9-week series where students get together to grab dinner, watch a short film, and share their thoughts. There are no lectures and no expectations - just open, honest conversations with a meal.
The Weekend Away
October 30 – November 1, 2026
Partway through the course, we host a weekend retreat outside the city. It’s a great chance to take a break, hang out, and dive a bit deeper into the topics we talk about on Fridays.

The Alpha Course

Join us every Friday for dinner to explore life's deeper questions in a warm and laid-back setting.
Alpha is an 11-week journey that welcomes individuals of different ages, languages, and backgrounds. Whether you're new to faith, seeking understanding, or just curious, Alpha is for you.

Baptism Classes
When: September 20th, 27th, and October 4th
Time: 12 to 1:15 PM
Where: The Gym at Bayview Glen Church
The Baptism service will be on October 17th and October 18th.
Baptism tells your family, community, and the world that you've said "YES!" to Jesus. It's an external representation of an internal reality you've been made new.
We'll meet to share our testimonies, learn about baptism, write up our stories and prepare for the upcoming baptism service. A light lunch will be served.

Family Dedications
When: Sunday, September 27
Have a baby or small child? Our Family Dedication is a service where parents make a public commitment to raise their child according to the ways of God.
It's not an act of salvation but rather a blessing over the family. This is a chance for us to celebrate and come alongside your family as you take this step and declare your intention to teach your children about Jesus and to encourage them in faith, as you strive to provide a Christian home of love and grace.
Please register by September 19.
Annual Meeting of Ministry Partners
When: Sunday, September 27
Where: In-Person and Online (livestream on YouTube)
Time: 6 to 7:30 PM
Join us for our Annual Meeting of Ministry Partners!
It’s a chance to see the heartbeat of our church and catch a glimpse of where He is leading us next. Together, we’ll celebrate how God has been at work and hear meaningful updates from our Elder Board. Whether you’ve been part of Bayview Glen for years or are just beginning to call it home, this evening will give you a deeper sense of who we are and where we’re going!
The AMMP is open to everyone, and Ministry Partners will also take part in voting, either in person or on their mobile device.

Between services on Sunday, September 20, you'll have a chance to greet our two new elder candidates in the lobby. It's also the perfect opportunity to ask questions about the upcoming AMMP.
Thanksgiving SERVE: Meals for Neighbours
When: Saturday, October 3rd
Time: 10 AM to 8 PM (Separate time slots available below)
Where: Bayview Glen Church & 682 Warden Ave
This Thanksgiving Season, we are providing Thanksgiving meals for our neighbours at 682 Warden Ave, who are facing poverty, isolation, mental illness and addiction.
Join us in spreading God's love by helping to cook and serve meals, cleaning with us, or donating food items to cook with!
There are several ways that you and your family can get involved. Look below for the options and register.
Vision Session: Bayview Glen - Richvale

Young Adults: Thanksgiving Potluck

We are so excited for our third annual Thanksgiving Potluck!
Last year's Thanksgiving potluck featured an incredible spread of delicious food, and we're aiming to make this one even better.
This potluck event also launches a new season for our Young Adult group, so invite your friends and enjoy an evening of fun, food, and fellowship!
Discovery Course

Speaker Series: Evil & Suffering ft. Apologetics Canada
When: Sunday, November 8, 2026
Time: 7 to 9 PM
Where: In person at Bayview Glen Church

Why does God allow evil and suffering? How can a loving God permit pain, injustice, and loss?
Join us for an evening of thoughtful teaching and conversation as we explore what the Bible teaches about the reality of suffering, the character of God, and the hope He offers in the midst of life’s hardest questions.
Speakers include:
• Wes Huff – Vice President of Apologetics Canada and an internationally experienced speaker who has participated in public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events around the world.
• Dr. Ben MacDonald – A theologian, speaker, and educator with a heart for engaging faith and culture. Recruiter and adjunct lecturer at Acadia Divinity College who has spent several years travelling as a speaker and preacher throughout the Maritimes and Ontario.
Young Adults: The Gathering Launch
When: Saturdays starting September 12
Time: 6 to 7 PM

Something new is starting for Young Adults at Bayview!
The Gathering launches Saturday, September 12, and you’re invited to be part of it from the beginning. Come by the Café after attending Saturday service to hang out, meet some people, and hear more about what The Gathering will look like.
This will be a weekly space for Young Adults from every part of life to connect and find community. No big agenda. No pressure. Just a low-key, welcoming place to show up, meet people, and build real friendships.
Whether you’re new to Bayview, have been around for a while, know a bunch of people, or don’t know anyone yet, there’s room for you!

Join our in-person registration to attend weekly ESL classes at Bayview Glen Church!
Whether you’re just beginning or want to strengthen your English skills, our classes welcome learners of all levels and cultures into a warm, supportive environment.
Each session will help you grow in confidence through everyday conversation, pronunciation, and grammar. It’s also a wonderful place to build friendships, share stories, and connect with a caring community.

Bayview Babies (Ongoing)
When: Tuesday mornings
Where: Bayview Glen Church (Kid’s Wing)
Time: 10 AM to 12 PM
Bayview Babies is a space for parents to connect and encourage one another, as well as grow spiritually together. Parents will be going through a time of learning and discussion, praying for each other and finding support in this transitional time of life.
Parents are welcome to bring their little ones to play while connecting with others who are in a similar season.
No registration is required, simply drop by!
