ESL Classes (Ongoing)

Where: Bayview Glen Church (Upper parking lot entrance)
Cost: $50
Come join our ESL classes, held weekly every Monday and Thursday, except on public holidays. These classes are designed for all levels and are for people from different cultures who want to improve their English.
To register, please arrive at 9:30 AM any Monday or Thursday morning.

Are you a new parent looking for community? Join Bayview Babies, a time set aside to gather in fellowship and to do a devotional together.
Bring your babies for a time of singing together, hearing from God’s word, and making new friends. No registration needed, drop in.
Young Adults: Trivia Night

Young Adults, get ready for a brain-busting, laughter-filled evening!
Join us for the ultimate Trivia Night hosted by our games master, Sonja. Whether you're a trivia whiz or just in it for the snacks and giggles, this night promises to be a blast.
Bring a snack to share; we'll form your trivia team and compete for the grand prize.
We've got space for 64 sharp minds, so sign up early!
Discovery Course
When: Sundays, January 26, February 2 and 9
Time: 12 PM to 1:30 PM

Our first Discovery Course of 2025 will start on Sunday, January 26.
Here at Bayview Glen Church, we understand the importance of cultivating a sense of community and deepening your connection with the church. We created the Discovery Course for just that!
Over this 3-week journey, you will have the opportunity to:

The Alpha Course
Join us every Wednesday for dinner to explore life's deeper questions in a warm and laid-back setting. Alpha is an 11-week journey that welcomes individuals of different ages, languages, and backgrounds. Whether you're new to faith, seeking understanding, or just curious, Alpha is for you.
Speaker Series: Unpacking the Creation Stories

The early chapters of Genesis are foundational to Christian belief, but they also spark significant debate. What do these ancient texts truly mean? How do we faithfully interpret and derive meaning? And what have centuries of Christian tradition revealed about the creation accounts?
Join us for an engaging and thought-provoking evening as an interdisciplinary panel of scholars from diverse fields—Biblical Studies, Theology, English, and Old Testament studies—offer their unique perspectives on Genesis.

Baptism Classes
When: March 2, 9, 16, 2025
Time: 12 PM to 1:15 PM
Where: The Hub & Cafe at Bayview Glen Church
Our first Baptism service of 2025 will be on Sunday, March 30! If you are ready to take your next steps, join our Baptism Classes starting Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Baptism tells your family, community, and the world that you've said "YES!" to Jesus. It's an external representation of an internal reality you've been made new.
We'll meet to share our testimonies, learn about baptism, write up our stories and prepare for the upcoming baptism service.
A light lunch will be served. Please note any dietary restrictions on your registration.

We're back for round two of our Young Adults Christmas Eve Takeover!
Get ready to bring the energy, connection, and Christmas cheer to every guest who walks through our doors! From the parking lot to the lobby, we have an opportunity to create a welcoming space for people to experience God's love.
We need at least 35 of you to help make it happen. And yes, this year, we’re going all-in on holiday vibes—so wear your holiday best and let’s SERVE as a team, share laughs, and make this takeover even better than the first!
Also, if you're curious about what it's like to SERVE, this is a great chance to get a sneak peek into the heart of what makes Bayview so special.

Christmas Meals for Neighbours
When: Saturday, December 14
Time: 10 AM to 8 PM (Separate time slots available at registration link)
Where: Bayview Glen Church & 682 Warden Ave
This Christmas Season, we are providing Christmas meals for our neighbours at 682 Warden Ave, who are facing poverty, isolation, mental illness and addiction.
Join us in spreading God's love by helping to cook and serve meals, cleaning with us, or donating food items to cook with!
There are several ways that you and your family can get involved including cooking at the church, donating food, serving meals, or participating in kitchen clean-up.
Fall Cleanup Day

Get your rakes, leaf gloves, and limb cutters ready. Join us as we work together to prepare our church grounds for a beautiful fresh start. Your helping hands will make a huge difference. And don't worry, lunch will be provided.
