Where: Bayview Glen Church (The Cafe + Gym)
Ages: Grade 6-12

Come hang out, have fun, and build community! We'll have the gym open for basketball, volleyball, and other games, plus video games, board games, and plenty of opportunities to connect with friends and leaders.

Everyone in Grades 6-12 is welcome. Bring a friend and join us - no registration needed!

Prayer & Worship Night

Where: Bayview Glen Church (Sanctuary)

Join us for an all-ages Prayer & Worship Night as kids, youth, and adults come together across generations to seek God. Through worship, Scripture, open prayer, and an interactive prayer activity for the whole family, everyone will have an opportunity to participate.

As we look ahead to where God is guiding us, we’ll focus on living on mission and what it means to GO into the places He has positioned us. Together, we’ll intentionally pray for students, schools, workplaces, jobs, and the people and communities God is inviting us to reach.

Whether you’ve been with us for years or this is your first time through our doors, there’s a place for you here.

Canada’s Wonderland Youth Trip

Canada’s Wonderland Youth Trip

Ages: Grade 6 to 12
When: Monday, August 24
Time: 9:00 AM to 9:00PM
Cost: $40 ($15 if student already has a park pass)

We’re wrapping up summer with a full day at Canada’s Wonderland! Students in Grades 6 to 12 are invited to join us for rides, games, snacks, and plenty of time to hang out with friends and our Bayview Youth community.

The trip cost includes transportation and park admission. Students may bring extra money for food, games, or souvenirs, but it is completely optional. They are also welcome to pack a lunch, which can be left on the bus until our scheduled meal time.

Our adult Bayview Youth leaders will be with the group throughout the day to chaperone, support students, and help make the trip a fun and positive experience for everyone.

More information will be shared with families closer to the trip date. We can’t wait to finish the summer together!

Alpha Youth

If you’ve ever wanted a space to talk about faith, life, and meaning without any pressure, Alpha is for you.

It’s a 9-week series where students get together to grab dinner, watch a short film, and share their thoughts. There are no lectures and no expectations - just open, honest conversations with a meal.

The Weekend Away

October 30 – November 1, 2026

Partway through the course, we host a weekend retreat outside the city. It’s a great chance to take a break, hang out, and dive a bit deeper into the topics we talk about on Fridays.

Alpha is an 11-week journey that welcomes individuals of different ages, languages, and backgrounds. Whether you're new to faith, seeking understanding, or just curious, Alpha is for you.

Weekend Away: As part of Alpha, we invite all guests to a special weekend retreat, which is from Oct 30 - Nov 1, 2026. It's a chance to deepen connections and reflect on the course content. More information will be provided later on the course.

Childcare: We offer weekly childcare for our guests, ensuring everyone can fully engage with the material and participate in meaningful discussions. Each week, children will enjoy an age-appropriate dinner, fun toys, and a movie in a safe and welcoming environment. Please note that unattended children are not permitted in the church.

Baptism Classes

Where: The Gym at Bayview Glen Church

The Baptism service will be on October 17th and October 18th.

Baptism tells your family, community, and the world that you've said "YES!" to Jesus. It's an external representation of an internal reality you've been made new.

We'll meet to share our testimonies, learn about baptism, write up our stories and prepare for the upcoming baptism service. A light lunch will be served.

Speaker Series: Evil & Suffering ft. Apologetics Canada

Why does God allow evil and suffering? How can a loving God permit pain, injustice, and loss?

Join us for an evening of thoughtful teaching and conversation as we explore what the Bible teaches about the reality of suffering, the character of God, and the hope He offers in the midst of life’s hardest questions.

Speakers include:

Wes Huff – Vice President of Apologetics Canada and an internationally experienced speaker who has participated in public dialogues, debates, and interfaith events around the world. Wes is passionate about showing that the Christian faith is both intellectually credible and deeply satisfying for the questions we face in everyday life.

Dr. Ben MacDonald – A theologian, speaker, and educator with a heart for engaging faith and culture. Recruiter and adjunct lecturer at Acadia Divinity College who has spent several years travelling as a speaker and preacher throughout the Maritimes and Ontario. With a deep love for both the Church and the academy, Ben is committed to helping people think deeply about their faith and engage thoughtfully with the world around them.

Bayview Babies is a space for parents to connect and encourage one another, as well as grow spiritually together. Parents will be going through a time of learning and discussion, praying for each other and finding support in this transitional time of life.

Parents are welcome to bring their little ones to play while connecting with others who are in a similar season.

No registration is required, simply drop by!
