Camp Supply Drive
When: April 19 - June 14
Where: Kid’s Wing at Bayview Glen Church
This summer, Bayview Kids and Bayview Youth are heading into the Rainforest Falls: an adventure of Exploring the Nature of God. Throughout the summer, kids will discover what it means to be rooted in a relationship with God, their Creator and a safe place in life’s storms.
We’re gathering supplies to help create meaningful, joy-filled experiences for hundreds of kids and youth. From sidewalk chalk for creative games and activities to snacks and supplies that keep camp running smoothly, each item helps make the summer special.
The supply drive runs April 19 to June 14, and your generosity will help create spaces where kids can explore, connect, and grow in their faith.
You can drop off your donation in the designated donation box in the Kids Wing!
Speaker Series: Mental Health
Date: June 5, 2026
Time: 7 PM to 9 PM
Location: Bayview Glen Church (In-Person and Online)
Join us for an honest and hope-filled evening as we explore the intersection of faith and mental health.
This speaker series will engage the theology of mental health while also addressing the real-life challenges facing youth and families today. Together, we’ll consider how Scripture, the Church, and clinical insight can shape a more compassionate, informed, and faithful response to mental wellbeing.
Whether you’re navigating your own mental health journey, supporting someone you love, or simply seeking to understand more, this conversation aims to create space for learning, reflection, and encouragement.
Speakers Include:
• Jorg Wacker – Therapist at Tyndale Wellness Centre, with a background in pastoral and cross-cultural ministry. Jorg brings a warm, integrative approach to mental health, supporting individuals through anxiety, depression, faith-related challenges, and more.
• Jennifer Bowen – Executive Director of Shalem Mental Health Network, with decades of experience in marriage and family therapy. Jennifer is passionate about biblically-informed, professional care and building strong, supportive communities.
• Marianne Deeks – Registered Psychotherapist with a focus on youth, young adults, and families. Marianne brings deep experience in areas like anxiety, depression, resiliency, and adolescent development, alongside her work supporting vulnerable communities.

Real Talks for Real Life: Youth Leadership Series (Ongoing)
Next Leadership Lab: May 12, 2026
Location: Bayview Glen Church (Gym)
Open to: Grades 8–12
Cost: Free
Real Talks for Real Life is a free community program designed to help students grow into confident, capable leaders.
Through practical workshops, honest conversations, and interactive events, students will build emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and develop real-life leadership skills they can use at school, at home, and in their community.
We believe leadership development works best when families and the community are involved. We also offer sessions for parents and caregivers, providing practical tools to support their teens’ growth and well-being.
On May 12, we’re continuing with our second leadership lab: Leading With Empathy for students in Grades 8-12.
What does it really look like to show up for others? What do you say when conversations get real? And how do you care deeply without burning out?
Missed the first Leadership Lab? No problem, you’re still welcome to join us! Sign up using the link below.
